Wordle

Wordle is a program that creates graphics to represent groups of words that are brainstormed together. Once a list is compiled, it will make it into a graphic that can printed off or saved as a PDF. This is a cross-curriculum program as it can be used in any subject, and is a cross-grade one as well, as I use it in my Kindergarten classroom, while it would be easy to even use in a graduate program such as this. Hopefully other educators can learn from this screencast and can begin to use it as a tool in their classroom!

PrimoPDF allows people to share documents freely without having to have the software installed in their computers by converting files simply by “printing” them. For special education teachers, it has been all about sharing Boardmaker programs but I can see middle school and high school students using it to share works in progress with their teachers where the teachers don’t need to spend time or money loading their machines with unneeded software.
